2. Best of all, it is convenient to many LA freeways-- getting to downtown LA, Pasadena, and so forth is a snap (though traffic, of course, changes this a bit).

7. No free breakfast, no coffee in the lobby, very few suites available (which really helps when traveling with a teenager who needs his space), loud freeway noise unless you request to change rooms to the tennis court side or patio side of the hotel.
