1. One of the days during my stay it was raining and the lady in the gift shop gave me an address to a mall down the road that was undercover and free to park.

2. Be aware that you need quarters to park at the side of roads around Hollywood Blvd, so ensure that you have plenty as my friend went into the shop on the corner for quarters and gave the man $5 and it was willing to give $2 for the $5.

3. Universal Studios is about 5 mins drive away and cost $15 to park, the hotel runs a free shuttle bus but the last bus back is about 9 which is a bit early for us.
