1. Excellent place to stay for a trip to Universal Studios or Downtown LA.

2. Just a few minutes from Universal City with easy access to freeways for Hollywood, the West Side, downtown, etc. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning again soon.

3. The only downfall was that the staff didn't seem to know about the Metro which is just round the corner and get's you into Hollywood in ten minutes and downtown LA in half an hour.

4. They will also drop you off at the Metro - it is only 1 stop on the metro red line to end up in downtown Hollywood.

5. Best of all, it is convenient to many LA freeways-- getting to downtown LA, Pasadena, and so forth is a snap (though traffic, of course, changes this a bit).

7. Once downtown, the DASH bus is also available to visit the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, Little Tokyo, etc. Fare for the buses and the Metro is $1.50 one way or an all day $5.

8. Exploring LA in sections: Hollywood, Universal City area, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, the beaches, etc. is the best way to go.

9. If you have a car and have the time, take Multiview Drive in Hollywood Hills (Muholland Drive) for bird's eye views of Universal City, the Hollywood Bowl, the Hollywood sign and downtown LA from the Scenic Overlooks.
