1. A couple starters would be: having sheets that actually cover the mattresses (along with mattresses that are not made solely of metal coils), staff that actually pays attention, 'corner-view city skyline rooms' that actually look onto the city (instead of the building next door that's being renovated).

2. Loved the view from my roomThe hotel consist of two towers, one is closed off due to renovation but it does not interfere with the daily operation of the hotel.

4. For example I found that my room was a mix of some elements very newly renovated (bathroom, bed, linens, desk), but other aspects very dated (phone, vanity area in need of refinishing, overall dim lighting, hairdryer).

5. Once you get off the elevator, the guest rooms are a totally different style from the public spaces of the hotel, and I wonder if they were even renovated at all.
