1. The waitstaff and bartenders in the restaurant were unbelievably nice, friendly and helpful- they were even dealing with a lot behind the scenes but you would never know it- they were awesome.

5. The food was tasty, but there are so many excellent restaurants and mom & pop diners in the area, that I would recommend getting out and mixing it up!'Diners, Drive-ins & Dives' has showcased Charlotte, NC a few times - and for good reason.

6. The restaurant which made it's debut opening the night of my arrival is filled with wonderful employees however, they only had one salt and pepper shaker for the whole place, the tables were cheap and scuffed and the bar lights, broken.

9. The hotel was ok, but the highlight was the shuttle driver-Anthony, He was wonderful he picked us up every morning and greeted us with a smile and information about the city, he recommended a wonderful restaurant that we went to twice.
