The doorman told me it hadn't been filled that day, and then he advised me the nearest newspaper would have to come from a convenience store 5 blocks down the
street
.
"Quite good, but why isn't it great? "

While we didn't notice any extra noise or problems at all with this, it was still very annoying to know that we pay for this 'luxury' hotel and people off the
street
can come in and swim and not be a hotel resident.

Management's only solution was for us to use some aquatic center located across the
street
(yuck!) or find other accomodations.

The process has not been without hiccups, but the Blake offers an interesting alternative to staying in either a mid-priced chain hotel miles from the city center or paying a premium to stay at the Hilton, et al three blocks up the
street
.

street
and pick up us if we wanted to take a shower at the aqutics center.
