The beds were comfortable enough but we found the 5th floor room noisy, due to street
noise
.

I stayed in the South Tower and there is so much street
noise
- people screaming and loitering in the streets and there are sirens regularly too.

Problems: PAPER thin walls (as in hearing someone cough quietly); very loud street
noise
s despite being on the 23rd floor; very dated and slightly shabby hallways and public areas; ice cold eggs at the Club Level lounge during breakfast.

I realize the hotel can't control the amount of
noise
, but they can control how much of it gets into rooms.

The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 out of 5 is because of the steep parking fee ($22 a day), which is normal for downtown in any city, and also you could hear a lot of
noise
coming from the street at night.

The single pane windows, the
noise
, the sub-par interior in some places etc etc etcBut at the same time the rest of the story holds true, as well.

The one-pane windows were most likely the cause of heat loss and also the cause of the
noise
you could hear from outside.
