1. We liked this no-smoking, no-casino-on-site hotel in Las Vegas because it is on the monorail (Convention Ctr stop) and had a fridge and a safe and also it is away from the noise and lights of The Strip and the beds were comfy, BUT were surprised there was a big stain on the carpet and two serious tears or frays in the carpet which really downgraded the room.

2. We brought our six year old son and it was nice to stay in a hotel without the noise of the casino.

3. The Renaissance is a beautiful hotel with a great location; so close to the strip but yet away enough to just sit back and relax without the loud noise and cigarette andalcohol smell.

4. Nice hotel, I stayed on the 10th floor and when the room door was closed there was a wind tunnel noise found coming from under the door, I did tell the front desk but they did not seem concerned about my complaint, the bell man and porters are amazing make you feel great Clayton was his name I think.
"Becareful when booking here, not near the strip " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/27/2011 Vote
5. Several caveats I'd mention: we were on the 7th floor facing Paradise Road (rooms with a view of the strip) and the traffic noise was very noticeable, especially early in the morning and the room was very warm from the afternoon sun; I would suggest forgoing the view and getting a room facing east.

8. Having stayed on the strip before, it can sometimes be annoying with the noise, the smoking in casinos, the resort fees, and parking.

10. This was a great hotel away from the smoke and noise of the strip, but close to the monorail to get us down to the action when we wanted.
