7. Renaissance Las Vegas is right by the convention center, short walk (can't believe anyone can complain about the length of that walk) to a monorail stop and maybe a 20, 25 minute walk to the north end of the strip.

9. Must say though the monorail station is VERY close ( like a 1 min walk) , the stations were sort of inconvenient in my opinion.
