1. The suite overlooked the Strip, and at 33 floors high, we could watch erupting volcanoes and passing helicopters without enduring any of the noise from the road or the adjacent construction site.

7. When we checked in, the concierge let us know that there is construction with large cranes outside that would interfere with the upgraded Las Vegas strip view, so we stuck with the regular view and were very pleased to save about $30 a night.
