1. The Canyon Ranch restaurant on the Palazzo side offers great healthy food options for lunch and dinner and the gyms have plenty of equipment.

2. Aquavana is part of the Canyon Ranch Spa shared by the Palazzo and Venetian, and includes a wonderful single gender hot tub/spa, steam, sauna, relaxation area that would have been a welcome addition after a long day on the trade show floor and gym workout.

3. This gives you access to two terrific gyms, the smaller one in the Palazzo was less crowded during my stay, and closer to the pool.

4. I paid the $20 resort fee which included daily gym pass and internet - it's a good deal as the gym is amazing and internet charges can really add up.

5. Gym at Palazzo is a little small--with limited equipment--but we were able to walk the corridor to the Venetian gym, which was plenty large and offered more machines.

9. Resort fee of $20 per day is actually a great value - provides access to the gym, free wifi, and a daily newspaper; as all the hotels in Vegas charge additional fees for amenities, this took care of everything and there were no surprises.
