5. The hotel is huge and the construction with the wood and giant log-feel is very home-like, and if you go in Christmas they have a 6 story tall Christmas tree inside the lobby.

7. Stayed at Grand Californian for a change of pace with two kids and high expectations, thinking that it would be a level above the Disneyland Hotel experience (and because the DH is having serious construction).

9. Our Family is from WA and we go to Disney twice a year, up until about a year ago we always stayed at The Disneyland Hotel, but do to the construction we decided to pay the extra and stay at the Grand CA.
