1. She was able to get us into our room pretty fast and even spoke to the manager of valet, who actually took care of our valet charge for our whole stay as well as sent us some strawberries and sparkling wine, which definitely helped.
"Happiest Place on Earth....NOT! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/27/2012 Vote
2. The Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel is much better than the Californian in my opinion, though for some reason it has the same slow desk service service and insistence on Exact Check In Times - as Posted requirement -and the same disinterested to the point of rudeness desk clerks- - rather than real world or hotels just 15 miles from Disneyland who actually feel they should be nice to you - even when they charge half the rate this Disneyland hotels do - for the same rooms and amenities.
"Over-priced, but decent except for the cheap pillows and beds " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/1/2012 Vote
3. Little has changed from our previous stay in November 2010, except they now charge $15 for self-park in the lot across the street.

5. Room keys double as charge cards (like a cruise your room will be charged) and even the kids got a key with their names on it as a souvenir.
"Expensive yes but I didn't mind " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/2/2011 Vote
6. We originally made reservations at the Disneyland Hotel, but upon arrival, they took the liberty of upgrading us to a family suite at the Grand Californian for my daughter's 6th birthday, free of charge.

10. As others have mentioned, the rooms truly need to be updated for the price they charge as they are VERY TINY compared to other hotels and are starting to become worn from probably being rented every single night of the year.
"Nice....but FAR from a four star hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/30/2012 Vote
