1. A real business hotel has free wifi everywhere.

2. There is a good combination of chairs, sofas, low tables, high work tables with bar chairs, outlets, flat screen TVs, etc. I refuse to pay for internet access and thus did my work in these areas with free wifi.

Very convenient location, minutes to cable cars, Union Square, Market Street, huge Westfield and all specialty and big name shops - Macys, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales etc.The stafff were super polite and helpful for the most part - I wouldn't falt it although I do admit that free wifi in the rooms would be appreciated - you could always go down to the lobby for free Internet though.

Room was comfortable, TV annoyed me (connected laptop via HDMI to watch movies but had to go and get a separate audio cable), free wifi in the lobby but a ridiculous $15/day in the room, conveniently located right next to BART (but sadly that meant a string of bums to get past to get to the hotel - and one of them was urinating in the street.

8. First the conference told us that we got a free WiFi access in our rooms but when we asked the front desk they insisted it is chargeable at $14.99 per night.

There was a big convention on while we were there so the lobby was crowded with people using the free Wifi which was a hassle trying to dodge people standing in the middle of the walkway, we did get a email from Marriot marquis notifying us that there was a conevetion on and if we wanted to switch hotel we could with no charge.
