1. The local amenities, like the local restaurants where cheap and friendly, the Japanese Mall was fun, check out Ichiban Kan everything is $1.50 unless stated.

5. Staff were friendly and helpful; room was huge (we took advantage of an offered upgrade to a large corner room for only additional $9/night) with nice decor (very Japanese, but not unpleasantly so) and good amenities.

10. Also, the hotel gives you a spa-like feel with the nice bath and the nearby spa, but don't expect spa-like amenities like good bath products or luxurious towels, although the robes were very nice.
