1. If you do not get a renovated room, you are supposed to be able to use their spa for free.

2. The passes for the nearby spa are gender-specific (only males or only females) except for Tuesdays, so they weren't useful for a relaxing couple weekend (but would be great for traveling with same-gender family or friends.

5. The free passes to the spa were nice to have, but we didn't use as there is only one day a week that is coed, which wasn't while we were in town, and my husband and I wanted to experience the spa together.

7. The building is very nice as well and the complimentary offer of communal bath at Kabuki Springs and Spa made our stay even more perfect.

10. Also, the hotel gives you a spa-like feel with the nice bath and the nearby spa, but don't expect spa-like amenities like good bath products or luxurious towels, although the robes were very nice.
