1. The small closet had a good number of hangers, a coffee pot, a safe big enough for a regular-size laptop, and a mini bar fridge.

Everything described on the website was there, as advertised: sunken living space (actually, this was the same level as the entry from the hallway, it's just that the rest of the suite is raised up a step above it), shoji screens leading into a good-sized tatami room with a futon, large closet, low tables, a minibar and a flat screen TV.

5. Little things that I loved: the coat / shoe closet is by the front door; the toilet is separate from the shower and sink; the toilet is mounted on the wall (sans the grody caulking on the floor); there is a drain in the floor of the bath area.

6. The toilet was not at all clean, basic complimentary amenities were missing (and remained missing well after housekeeping passed through the next morning; I only secured the amenities once I asked for them directly), and the guest robe hung in the closet had fresh make-up stains on the inside from a previous guest.

7. A separate toilet closet does have a door that shuts completely, but that one door is shared with the bathing area - where it mostly covers, but doesn't shut (by design) so it's not 100% private.

8. The sauna in our bathroom was very small, maybe the size of a closet, which we did not end up using, so I cannot speak to that.
