2. The theatres, shopping, dining and the bright lights are all within walking distance which allows you the freedom of leaving your car at home (parking $48/day), minimizing taxi fares and using the subway helps keep the expenses within reason.

We have been coming for three or four years and each time we visit we are greeted by a perfectly professional front desk staff, always accommodating parking garage staff, courteous housekeeping folks, etc. Each and every Hilton employee with whom we have had contact has made our stay enjoyable and made us feel like we were an important guest.

6. Beer at hotel bar was $9/glass and parking in hotel garage was something like $40/day (for my brother, although normally when he has time, he finds a nearby public garage to save a few bucks).

10. If you bring a vehicle as I did, you must enter the parking garage on 53rd street(which runs west).
