1. She stated that since the construction was not happening at the Renaissance they could not reduce my bill and claimed my only recourse was additional reward points.

3. I called down to the desk to request 1/2 off my bill for the inconvenience (noting that some sort of notice about nearby construction should be on their website or in reminder notices).

5. I hadn't noticed construction when I arrived because it was early evening (after the construction workers went home) and I just dropped off my bag and headed to my meeting.

6. Lots of construction going on in the neighborhood right now, but this hotel is located right across the street from the new convention center, near China town, lots of eating choices of every kind and just a short ride from Washington National Airport.

8. We overlooked a courtyard which was kinda unexpected and at first disappointing but then I realized it would be much quieter, especially considering there was construction on the other side of the hotel.

9. At the moment the front of the hotel looks at a construction site - but did not hear any noise from this anywhere in the hotel.

10. There was also some rooms being remodeled on my floor, adjacent to my room as well as above me so the noises from construction was a bit annoying and especially first thing in the morning.
