1. I didn't try the breakfast and wasn't really monitoring the price as I was on business, but it's a decent option if you're working in this area even if, like most business hotels, it's ultimately a bit characterless and impersonal (and huge).

4. The downstairs lobby, which is huge, felt like it had several separate and distinct areas where people could gather or relax amongst a full service bar with probably 12 TV's in case you want to watch the Lakers overtake the Dallas Mavericks or any other of their opponents.

5. Things started shakily when a thin blonde lady at the helm of her pearlescent white german 4 wheel drive motor car almost drove over a (jet lagged) me on arrival outside the hotel's huge and impressive drive by lobby.

6. It is right across the street from Tom Collichio's new LA edition of Craft, it is around the corner from the huge Century City Mall, and only a few short blocks from the Fox studios (in one direction) and Beverly Hills (in the other direction).
