1. The hotel accepts pets which could be a bonus to some, although I wish there was some way of excluding irresponsible pet owners from the hotel - someone across the hall left their dog in the room alone for hours and understandably, it would not stop yelping.

2. That said, this is one of the nicer hotels that accepts pets with open arms so the scent may have been related to a carpet cleaner, though I am not sure.
