1. OVERALL - As we were going for mostly just a fun weekend, I wasn't too picky, so I thought this trip was excellent.

2. It's a little off the track, and you have to walk the crazy 6th Street evenings to get back to it, but maybe that's part of the fun of Austin.

3. There's a walkway you can take leading to the side street and towards the convention center, offering lovely views of a nearby canal and the hotel's pool,( upgraded to include a really fun looking manmade waterfall as well.
