5. The room was of a decent size (many Union Square area rooms are tiny), the bathroom was upgraded, wireless was flawless and the mattress was wonderful.

7. The room had decent furniture -- the beds were comfortable with great comforters and pillows, the sink, toilet and bath in the bathroom were of high quality, the robes provided were warm, fuzzy and comfortable.

9. Who cares if your fixtures are cool and decor uber-modern if you can't take a remotely decent hot shower? Additionally, despite this being remodeled, the carpet's white areas were already grey.
