Try Jacks' bar round the corner (around 100 draft beer taps) and the Buena Vista cafe for brunch- Boudin's breadbowl chilli and clam chowder of course, and be careful walking along the wharf as there's a friendly homeless guy hiding behind his branches waiting to jump out at unsuspecting passers by.

4. I didn't return the key to reception quickly enough because the manager took time out from his busy schedule to call me up and scold me for taking too long meaning they couldn't use the room that night but hey, I'd only spent 1500 bucks so who cared if i could sleep or not ??? I pointed out that one of the windows was broken and perhaps if it was repaired that might help with the noise problem, the manager wasn't impressed and got very defensive.
