1. Most call it a 'tourist trap' but I really liked the ambiance and the food, is a beautiful area and a visit is totally worth it.

3. I recommend the bus tour, especially the one that goes across the Golden Gate bridge to beautiful Sausilto and the 'down town' tour that goes to the Painted Ladies and through Golden Gate Park (which I was surprised to learn is bigger than Central Park).

6. San Francisco is a beautiful city, one of my favorites in the world and I think that it doesn't deserve a hotel like Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf.

7. There is a beautiful park near the Powell/Hyde Cable Car turnaround (Hyde and Beach Streets) with benches and also a large bleacher area to sit and look at the beautiful bay and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.
