1. The decoration is dated but overall clean and more than acceptable.

I promptly went to the reception desk and in all fairness we were given two rooms in the beachside building but not able to accomodate the request for connecting rooms but were on the same floor, we had no choice but to accept as there was no way we could stay in the first allocation of rooms which were connecting.
