1. Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf is a hotel best suited to those who wish to take advantage of it's tourist-friendly location, only a few blocks walk away from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman's wharf.

5. The main reason for choosing was the location - at the heart of Fishermans Wharf - very good transport - at the end of the F line and the Hyde - Powell Hyde Beach Cable Cars (suggest you go early to Hyde - Beach line to avoid queue and to get best seats).

6. We had travelled from San Francisco airport we got a taxi which cost us the best part of $70 including tip (for a taxi driver that didnt even speak to us).

7. We notified the hotel that this is not acceptable to us and instead of finding a quick remedy, the guest manager told us that the best thing to do is for him to refund our money and for us to find another hotel.

10. Check in was easy, the guy behind the desk was friendly and welcoming, giving us a map and explaining the best ways to get around town and as a priority rewards member I got a free upgrade to business level.
