3. The hotel itself was in a reasonable location and indeed we were able to enjoy the Chinese new Year parade which passed by the hotel during our stay.

4. You can easily hear drunk people yelling out on the street, the large trucks, construction workers from the new tower building next door on Saturday morning shouting, etc.

6. Negatives: -Views: Sadly, a new tower is rising right in front of the former view formerly afforded to most all rooms for so many years.

7. I would say never stay here on Chinese new Year, but the fact that they provide earplugs (picture provided) should be all you need to know about noise in this hotel on any day of the year.
