1. And best of all? This is the only Hilton so far that has an executive lounge (26th floor) where you can have breakfast, 24-hour soda and coffee and Internet via iPad; that is if you are a Hilton HHonors member.

5. So too North Beach with lots and lots of wonderful Italian restaurants and one of the best street scenes in SFO If you like good steak and a bit of history, Andre's is right across the street and a good steak dinner at one of SFO's oldest steakhouses can be had there.

6. There are only four or five hotels I would consider that are within an easy walk of my office and I think this one is the best value - nothing fancy but very clean with excellent, predictable service and a nice, Chinese themed ambiance.

10. I suppose if you were looking to be right in Fisherman's Wharf (why???) or have a Bay View (nice, but I can live without it), this would not be the best choice for you, but it worked out perfectly for us, we loved the hotel and location.
