1. There was construction outside which we could hear from inside the room but it was only during the day so it didn't bother me too much.

3. You can easily hear drunk people yelling out on the street, the large trucks, construction workers from the new tower building next door on Saturday morning shouting, etc.

4. The only downside with this location is not the hotel's fault but the fact that it takes a good 20-30 mins to get out of downtown onto any freeways, thanks to all the construction (April 2012).

5. We had a bay view that was breathtaking- there was construction going on next door, so if you are planning on working in the room during the day you might notice the workers & noise (but it was not enough to affect our stay, we just closed the blinds).

8. Since we there during the weekend, it didn't bother us too much but not sure if we would stay here during the week until after the building construction is finished.

9. Even on the 19th floor, you can hear the sirens of passing emergency vehicles fairly well and the construction work on the building next door starts at around 7:00 during the weekdays so be aware if are coming here for business during the week.

10. We had a nice view of the bay but, also of the building being constructed across the way which is the main thing you saw when we sat on the bed.
