1. Plus, you are in a city, you should expect some noise ;) The only negative I found was that the pool is tiny.

5. I found it hard to keep the room's fan/cooling system on to create white noise w/o either making it too hot in the room or too cold.

6. (I've stayed on both city and bay sides) One 'slight' draw back is there is some traffic noise that can leek in from the street, but that can be expected being in the city.

9. We had a bay view that was breathtaking- there was construction going on next door, so if you are planning on working in the room during the day you might notice the workers & noise (but it was not enough to affect our stay, we just closed the blinds).
