1. The local amenities, like the local restaurants where cheap and friendly, the Japanese Mall was fun, check out Ichiban Kan everything is $1.

4. The traditional Japanese decor even translates to the rooms, and I slept like a baby in their beds.

5. Unlike many hotels there is no coffee or tea in the lobby (although you can make coffee in your room if you like that stuff).

6. The location is great if you are a walker like us, we walked to webster street and have our coffee at Peet's and proceed to the marina and lunch at Fisherman's wharp.
