6. Self-park in the parking structure of the plaza is also much cheaper than the hotel valet park, and costs only $16 a day, as opposed to the $39 charged by the hotel.

7. It'd be cheaper and less stressful to use cabs, and rent a car for the day if you want to go far out of town.

8. The rates were a little higher this time around (still cheaper than many comparable hotels we found) but then I got an email that said buy 2 nights get a 3rd free, we figured what the heck and made a long weekend out of it.

9. Not so terrible, it turned out - the Japantown lot is cheaper anyway (which we knew), and has parking directly under the hotel (which we didn`t know).
