3. As many people already know, hotels are not inexpensive in San Francisco, and Hotel Kabuki is not an exception to that general rule.

5. The passes for the nearby spa are gender-specific (only males or only females) except for Tuesdays, so they weren't useful for a relaxing couple weekend (but would be great for traveling with same-gender family or friends.

8. We didn't eat at the hotel except for a full American breakfast buffet the first morning (which was certainly nice but nothing to write home - or to Tripadvisor - about).
