3. (Maybe if they got screens for the windows and let fresh air in, it would be a lot better? Now you can open the large windows but it is a little scary (falling hazard) plus flies may come in too).

4. Maids were very good, even when we were in the room one day and told her not to worry we didn't need the room cleaned she wanted to come in and give us fresh towels and wipe down the shower.

5. The hotel has lost it's freshness, but the location - adjacent to Japan Center and all the great shops and restaurants - can't be beat.

6. The Japanese decor in the room was a nice change from standard hotel rooms and the sliding glass door opening to the balcony was great at night - I love to have fresh air when I sleep rather than the standard air conditioning found in most hotels.

The toilet was not at all clean, basic complimentary amenities were missing (and remained missing well after housekeeping passed through the next morning; I only secured the amenities once I asked for them directly), and the guest robe hung in the closet had fresh make-up stains on the inside from a previous guest.
