Erica, with whom I had spoken when making our reservation, personally greeted us upon check in, then effortlessly took care of everything from the Valet parking, upgrade to a luxurious spa-like suite, and many thoughtful xtras like her welcoming note, wine/fruit/cheese plate and passes to the Blues Club where we were meeting friends that night.

3. Normally I wouldn't care about being on the same floor as dogs, but when you get an animal that barks and howls every time someone walks past the door it can be a problem.

4. I had never been in a jet tub, but since I had suffered an injury while on vacation, within minutes I settled into the warm inviting water, and with the aroma therapy toiletries provided by Hotel Allegro, the cares of the day evaporated.

5. It can be very challenging traveling with small children, especially in the cramped quarters of a large city and we appreciated the outstanding attention and care that this hotel provided to us and the kids.
