4. From the time we checked in, the wonderful upgrade to a King Suite, the 'went out of his way' bell-hop, to the bottle of champagne and chocolates waiting in our room when we got back, it couldnt have been any better.

6. We booked it right away :)When we arrived, we were greeted at our car by the doorman who helped us decide whether the valet parking or self-park would be better for us.

7. My kids commented that they liked the Allegro way better than any of the Euro hotels which included the Hilton Waldorf London, Swissotel Istanbul, and Westin Excelsior Rome.

8. If you're here on the weekend, you're better off parking in a lot one block west of the hotel (on Randolph) where you can park for $13 if you're in by 8 PM and out by 10 AM the next day.
