3. We picked the hotel as we've stayed a number of times at other Affinia hotels and have had positive experiences.

4. The positive: staff is friendly, we got reimbursed for the night we didn't stay there, but a little too late as no manager available in the evening before to help you, so we ended up staying there miserably for one night.

6. The hotel`s position is perfect for all major sightseeing & shopping and is only a block or so away from Central Park, however its location at the intersection of 6th Avenue/57th Street makes it one of the noisiest hotels we have ever used.

8. But the positives-- the generous space, the numerous closets, the divided rooms, the kitchen appliances, the world-class 'elevator music' and the in-room CD player (and 2 TVs)-- far outweighed the negatives.
