2. Having booked the Buckingham Hotel at a very reasonable rate (half the price of most other available hotels in NYC) I was a little concerned about some of the reviews I saw on Trip Advisor about noise and cleanliness.

5. As far as cleanliness, the sheets are changed daily (snow white and fresh), the bedspreads are duvets that are also changed daily, and the kitchenettes are pristine and updated.

8. If you can get one of them and understand that this hotel has no services, one ice machine in the basement and really does not have the 'quiet elegance' that it tries portray, the location and cleanliness makes it worth considering.
