1. The room I stayed in was fine, a little dated and certainly not worth the $400 charged through the Hilton's website - the deal I got was substantially cheaper.

3. Yes, it's expensive (cheaper if you have Hilton Honors points to spend, in fact, maybe free then), but its central location (for people who don't mind walking a bit) makes it a place I'd likely return to if I were coming to see a Broadway show, go to Lincoln Center, or to MOMA.
