4. it is more expensive, but the rooms are 3 times the size (or so it seems) - it is in a much better neighborhood, close to the best shopping, and Moma among many others.

5. I emailed the hotel before we left the UK asking for a view room, they delivered as best they could considering they had a massive function being held there the weekend we was, The staff were helpful in giving us loads of tips and even booking our 9/11 tour as we was unaware you had to book to visit the site.

9. best rating for this hotel is for their customer service -- it was friendly on checkin, at Concierge desk (hint: go early, lines are long unless it is early am even though they had 2-3 ladies on duty every time I passed), and in the restaurant.
