1. We stayed in a suite - it was wonderful to have the kitchenette as we were able to go to the Fairway market over the road which is amaaaazing - we didn't have to eat out if we didn't want to.

6. The staff at the front desk were very helpful upon check in & after cheekily asking if we could be upgraded & unfortunately being told the hotel was full, the wonderful receptionist said if we were willing to wait a little while, they could put us in a king room on the 25th (top.

7. The location is wonderful--close to Central Park, the Natural History museum, many excellent restaurants, just a short walk to Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Museum and not a long one to the Museum of Modern Art.

8. I always wonder why it is only rated 3 star as the rooms is beautiful decorated with American classic furniture, the sheets and beds are comfy and the toilettries they provide are premium.
