1. My wife Sandra and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Beacon and can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience living like a true New Yorker.

2. Unbeknown to me, I was in the early weeks of pregnancy at the time of my stay, and after a day walking around the large, comfy bed seemed like heaven.

5. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are quite spacious and the people are nice, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel like this.

10. There arent a lot of extras (pool, exercise room) on site, but in a city like New York, who needs them? It is a walking city, which gave us plenty of exercise.
