1. As for area food, dinner before our show at Cafe Viand was quick & easy, had some good laughs & great breakfasts at Utopia (Amsterdam & 73rd), popped in to the Dive Bar on 75th for some locally brewed beer, & found some awesome pizza by the slice at some subterranian pizzeria around the corner from hotel (where we caught a glimpse of Gregg Allman leaving the Theatre after the second night's show).

2. awesome location, as has already been stated in previous reviews, Fairway across the street - is an adorable Aladdin's cave of a market, go there even if it is just for a wander.

5. Other than that, the suite was well equipped, and the kitchenette in particular was a great addition, we bought our breakfasts at Fairway over the road (the awesomeness of which cannot be overstated) every morning and prepared it in the kitchenette.

6. ' The little kitchenette was perfect for our needs -- we simply stopped in at the awesome Fairway market right across the street and picked up cereal, milk, fruit, snacks and even take-away meals, and were able to stretch our NYC food budget very nicely by eating 'in' for some meals.

8. If you are going to NY for 3 -4 nights I would recommend that you get a Metro Subway Pass for $28 -29 as it's real value for money this gets you unlimited travel on the subway and local buses for one week, awesome.

9. Big Nicks burgers were awesome, Cafe Viand was nice - big portions of caesar salad which we had boxed up to go because we couldn't finish, Levains bakery had the best warm chocolate chip cookies I have EVER tasted and Gray's Papaya was good for a quick, light and cheap hotdog fix on the way home after a day/evening out.
