7. Yes, the hotel lobby is very small (although I have been in smaller) and it feels a little more like the waiting line to buy a train ticket, but with a doorman who is very friendly.

8. The reception staff were less than friendly - strictly business.

9. Overall, a great base to see the city - but don't expect too much from the staff (with the exception of Anne at the front door - who was very friendly & in charge of tourist info/bookings/tickets etc) the general attitude and standard of customer service was poor, but sadly seemed to be pretty 'normal' in New York.
"Great location, average rooms, poor service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/21/2012 Vote
10. friends stayed in a massive two bedroom room which would be ideal for families.
