1. Overall, a great base to see the city - but don't expect too much from the staff (with the exception of Anne at the front door - who was very friendly & in charge of tourist info/bookings/tickets etc) the general attitude and standard of customer service was poor, but sadly seemed to be pretty 'normal' in New York.

2. My daughter and I received exceptional service by every single hotel employee during our stay and it is clear this is of highest priority at Eastgate.
