1. loved the ritz, drinks at the bar and the beach pricy, but service was the best, be careful with in room bar samll bottle of wine 30$, better off go to walgreens , the am ham and cheese crossiant s are delicious, and larger bottles of wine much cheaper than in room servicem but the hotel was GREAT i cant wait to go back.

2. Already planning to escape several times there next winter--easier and cheaper than keeping a home in Florida and the Ritz staff makes you feel like it is your home.

3. We go to South Beach every year, and we usually look for a cheaper place, like the Colony, or the Impala, but with the cost of food, beach chairs, etc.

5. Tips on saving a buck if that is of concern:If you want to eat breakfast on the cheaper side, there is a breakfast place on Collins that is right in front of the Ritz Carlton building (its attached to the building).

7. Be prepared everything is very expensive in the hotel but there is a Burger King and a Walgreens for your basic needs across the hotel, maybe it is cheaper :).
