A BIG part of this is to keep my mouth shut about being a commercial photographer, but as this was also a vacation and I wanted some nice shots of the ocean from our room, I outed myself anyways and gave him a very Regis-like question: 'Are you SURE that's your final answer? Because I'd be happy to submit these to a few websites to show them what passes for 'ocean view' and then file a dispute with my bank and see if THEY feel this is an ocean view room' I was furious at this point, because the photos on their website for the ocean view rooms actually had a view of the ocean, not a golf course.

7. When I repeated to her what I had told Don, she had no problem giving us a real ocean view room (keep in mind that this is different from an ocean front room, but what I like about the ocean view vs ocean front is that the patio is north facing, which is much better light and gave us some really neat sunrise and sunset shots)So even though we did end up with a very nice room, the experience we had upon check in ruined the entire trip for us and all I can recall is the bad attitude and lies we received from Royal Lahaina.

8. Room was great on 6th floor of tower, very modern and plenty of space with a nice lanai to watch the ocean, and whales.

9. Staff was very very nice and helped us with any questions we had, and reccomended several dining options, and sight seeing destinations.
