1. Here's a fun detail - every day they change out the mats in the elevators - 'Monday - beach and snorkeling', 'Wednesday - Golf and shopping', 'Tuesday - Luau night' and so on - it was helpful as I was in such a vacation daze I had little idea what day of the week it was when I got up.

2. If you continue walking past the Village and pass to the more fancy hotels, they have decent dining, (I reviewed Westin's Tropica elsewhere, as well as Hula Grill's fun happy hour).
