1. Definitely cheaper than other hotels in area but now I know why.

3. They do have cheaper rooms in the cottages, but they looked older and the plants and trees blocked light, so we imagined they wouldn't have the light and views that our tower room boasted.

4. The highlight for us from the hotel was the snokeling we hired equipment from bobs which is a bit further north at Napili and was heaps cheaper than the resort we were able to swim right off the beach and snokel at black rock which was amazing we saw sea turtles and a couple of manta rays and lots of different fish.

6. If your looking for souvenirs go to the little store right down from Subway in a stripmall in Lahaina on the main road (I cant remember the name of it, I think something Liquidation??) Or there is a K-Mart by the airport that is a lot cheaper too.

8. This hotel is a short walk (about 10 mins along the beach) from the other resorts and restaurants, shops etc, but so much cheaper to stay here.

9. Although it was much more expensive than I would normally pay, I believe it was cheaper than most of the other places in the same area, so in that sense it was a great value.

10. One thing I'd recommend: while you can rent snorkel gear (and other beach stuff) by the day or hour at the hotel, it's MUCH cheaper to run to Lahaina and get a set at Snorkel Bob's (on your right before you get to Lahaina on Front St.
